..... Every Millwright deserves to work with pride, respect and dignity. Union Millwright's have a career not just a job.

"If I were a factory employee, a working man on the railroads, or a wage earner of any sort, I would undoubtedly join the Union of my trade. If I disapproved of its policy, I would join in order to fight the policy. If the Union leaders were dishonest, I would join in order to put them out. I believe in the Union and I believe that all men who are benefited by the Union are morally bound to help to the extent of their powers in the common interest advanced by the Union." --------Franklin D. Roosevelt

Human right's in the work place include safe work, fair wages and fair trade. It's worth organizing and fighting for.

Why Consider Joining A Union?

A long time ago, mankind learned that by teaming up with others, he could tackle any task with greater success. Thus, villages and towns were formed--together, men could provide a safer and more stable life for themselves and their families.

The principle of trade unions is much the same. A Union, a group of dedicated men and women striving toward the same goals, provides security and dignity for all members.

The voices of many are louder than the voice of an individual. The United Brotherhood Of Carpenters speaks for its members, working to achieve job security, health and welfare benefits, a living wage, a safe working environment and a comfortable pension.

When you join a Union, you are joining a democracy. Each member has the opportunity to voice his concerns and suggestions, working for a better life for all.
